Dear students appearing for Board Exam,
It is generally observed that students indulge in writing extra (beyond prescribed limit) in order to get more marks. But, this is a complete misconception that extra writing will help in scoring more. On the other hand, unnecessary writing consumes more time and energy.
Don’t go beyond prescribed limit (if it is mentioned in question paper). If it is done, then it is considered that student is unable to complete the answer in given limit.
Give priority to quality of your answer, not to quantity.While assessing answer books, examiners generally look for:
- Whether the necessary points are covered or not.
- Precise explanation
- Overall presentation
- Fulfilment of prescribed word limit.
So, overwriting is not going to work for scoring extra. Rather students should focus on improving quality of answers and overall presentation.Blog written by:
